S1. Ep. 7 "Show Ponies and Freaks!" ft. Amber Martin

We’re so lucky to have this week, the celebrated international vocalist, performing artist and comedic monologist, Amber Martin. You may remember John Cameron Mitchell and Marc raving about her in Episode 4. She supports his tour of Origin of Love: The Songs and Stories of Hedwig, so we find out a bit about that, and we talk about her amazing studio album, A. M. GOLD, co-written with award-winning Australian songwriter, Brett Every, which includes two songs featured in John Cameron Mitchell’s film, How To Talk To Girls At Parties, (starring Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman). We love this raw, Janis-Bette-Reba inspired, genre-hopping vocal dreamboat; listen-in to hear some exclusive vocal stylings she recorded with us. WE LOVE THIS SHOW PONY FREAK and you will too.

  • Join Amber Martin for AMBYOKE every TUESDAY on Facebook Live! @ 5PM Pacific/7PM Central where she takes requests!
